Tim: My love of the Mustang resulted in the sale of the Dart sometime before the summer of my freshman year and resulted in the purchase of a dark blue 1965 Mustang that looked a lot like this one.

1965 Red Ford Mustang

This is the car I bought when I traded in the aforementioned graduation gift. A red on red 1965 Mustang . Do you wonder why I might have wanted to trade up? I never doubted for a minute that Dad understood. I worked at Helen's Fine Foods all summer... And ended up spending much of that on new shocks and Ball joints for it courtesy of the Yankee garage up on Leonard. I succumbed to the lure of profit and sold it during my Freshman year at Grand Rapids Baptist Bible College.
